How do I share selected photos?
Open Don't Swipe, choose up to 50 photos or videos, then start the viewer. Only the items you selected are available inside that viewing session.
Can I start from the Photos app?
Yes. In Apple Photos, select your media, tap Share, and choose Don't Swipe. If it is not visible, tap More and enable or pin it in the share sheet.
How do I leave a viewing session?
Use a stationary two-finger hold for about two seconds. Don't Swipe then asks for Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode to verify the owner.
Why can someone still leave the app?
iOS system gestures cannot be disabled by a normal app. For a stronger handoff, enable Apple Guided Access in Settings › Accessibility before handing over your device.
Does Don't Swipe keep copies of my photos?
Media is copied locally only for the active viewing session. Session files are removed after use, and stale temporary sessions are cleaned up automatically.
Troubleshooting
- Open the main app once after installation before using its Photos share extension.
- For media stored in iCloud, keep the device online while the selected item downloads.
- If owner verification does not appear, confirm Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode is configured on the device.
- If an issue continues, restart the app and include your device model and iOS version when emailing support.
